The complete, properly built bathroom. Best value for an investment property, a second bathroom, or a straight replacement of a tired one.
One licensed builder for every trade in the room. Demolition, plumbing, electrical, certified waterproofing, tiling, painting and every fitting supplied and installed — quoted once, in writing, - Complete bathroom renovation packages from $21,999.
A bathroom is the most trade-dense room in an Australian house. Every one of those trades is ours, sequenced by one project manager, and every one of them is inside the price you sign.
All trades in-houseThe classic renovation horror story is not bad workmanship. It is a quote that covered the tiling but not the tiles, the plumbing but not the fittings, and the demolition but not the skip — then six variations that arrive one at a time once the walls are already open and you have nowhere else to go.
Straight numbers, before you ring anyone. These are complete-room prices including GST, labour, all trades and supply — not labour-only rates.
| Type of bathroom | Typical complete price | Time on site (working days) | What drives the number |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small bathroom, same layout | $21,999 – $24,000 | ~20 days | Under about 5m², all plumbing stays where it is, standard tile sizes. |
| Standard main bathroom | $24,000 – $30,000 | ~24 days | 5–8m², tiles to the ceiling, freestanding bath, feature wall, niche. |
| Large or reconfigured bathroom | $30,000 – $40,000 | ~29 days | Layout changes, plumbing relocated, double vanity, frameless screen, stone. |

| Apartment / strata bathroom | $23,000 – $33,000 | ~24 days | Acoustic underlay, by-law approval, restricted hours, lift and access protection. |
| Powder room / small ensuite | $12,000 – $18,000 | ~15 days | No bath, smaller footprint, fewer tiles — same trades and same waterproofing. |
Every package is the finished room. Mix features across tiers freely — we re-price on the spot rather than telling you it’s not in the package.

The complete, properly built bathroom. Best value for an investment property, a second bathroom, or a straight replacement of a tired one.

Adds the three things guests notice: floating vanity, freestanding bath and a tiled feature wall with a recessed niche.

A designed bathroom. Layout reworked where it needs to be, stone tops, LED strip lighting, a lit mirror, and tapware in any finish you like.
AS 3740 compliantFailed waterproofing is the single most common and most expensive defect in Australian housing. It does not announce itself. It shows up two or three years later as a damp skirting in the next room, a swollen door frame, or a downstairs ceiling stain — by which point the fix means taking the finished bathroom out again.
We also get called in to fix other people’s. If your bathroom is only a few years old and something is already moving, staining or smelling, tell us — a proper diagnosis is cheaper than another re-grout that buys you six months.
On site or online, 30–60 minutes. We measure, check the plumbing and substrate, and talk through what you want changed.
Fixed price, full scope, every fitting itemised. Yours to compare against anyone else’s, line by line.
Tiles, vanity, tapware and screen chosen with us or sourced yourself. A deposit locks your start date and we lodge any strata paperwork.
Strip out, rough-in, waterproof, tile, paint, fit off. In sequence, by our own crews, with a photo update as each stage passes.
Joint walkthrough, defect list cleared, waterproofing certificate and warranty documents handed over, site left clean.
Twelve case studies with photos, scope, duration and the real cost of each project.

A 1970s brick-veneer bathroom, taken back to studs and replanned around a freestanding bath.

A long, narrow 1970s bathroom turned into one continuous run with a walk-in shower at the end.

A 1910 terrace where the bathroom and laundry shared six square metres and neither one worked.
Bring us the one you like — a screenshot is a perfectly good brief.

The finished room. Demolition of the old bathroom and removal of the rubbish, all plumbing and electrical work, certified waterproofing with a certificate, wall tiling and floor tiling, mould-resistant painting, and the supply and installation of the vanity, toilet suite, shower screen, tapware, mirror and accessories. It includes GST and it includes the labour of every trade. The things that are not in it are the things that genuinely vary: relocating plumbing to a new wall, structural repairs behind the old lining, underfloor heating, and selections that go past the package allowance. All of those are itemised in your quote before you sign.
Usually because they are labour-only, or because tile supply, the shower screen, the vanity, the waterproofing certificate and the rubbish removal all sit in an exclusions list you have to read carefully. Add those back and you are close to our number, except the risk of the variations has moved onto you. We would rather quote the complete room and be compared honestly. Send us any quote you are holding and we will map it line by line against ours.
Around four weeks — about 20 working days — for a standard single bathroom, from the first day of demolition to handover. Bathrooms where plumbing points move, second-storey bathrooms, or a main bathroom and ensuite done together run longer. Strata buildings can add a week for approvals before we start on site, which is why we lodge that paperwork as soon as you book. You get the start and finish dates in writing.
Yes, and it is one of the most worthwhile things you can do in an older Sydney bathroom — most were laid out around a 1960s plumbing stack rather than around how anyone uses the room. Moving a shower or vanity is straightforward. Moving a toilet is the expensive one because it needs the waste line re-run and often the slab cut. We will tell you exactly what each move costs at the quote stage.
Every week. We handle the by-law application and the paperwork for your strata committee, use acoustic underlay to meet impact-noise requirements, work within the building's approved hours, protect lifts and common areas, and deal with the building manager directly. We also carry the insurance certificates strata committees ask to see.
We stop, photograph it, price the fix and send it to you in writing before we touch it. Rotten studs, a failed old membrane, asbestos sheeting and corroded copper are the four we find most often in Sydney bathrooms built before 1990. None of them are your fault and none of them get quietly absorbed into the job and billed at the end.
Yes. Every package carries a supply allowance and we will take you through our supplier showrooms — Reece, Beaumont Tiles and others — to make your selections. If you would rather buy your own, we give you a complete shopping list with sizes and quantities and deduct the supply from the price. Just don't order anything until we have measured, or you will end up two boxes short of tiles on a discontinued line.
On eligible projects, yes — Home Building Compensation Fund cover is included in the package price. It is required by law in NSW on residential building work over $20,000, and it protects you if the builder cannot complete or rectify the work. You also get the NSW statutory warranty on top: six years on major defects, two years on everything else.
Send us the room size, a photo and what you want changed. You’ll get a written fixed-price quote with every trade and every fitting itemised.
We’ll map it line by line against ours and show you exactly what each one includes and excludes. If theirs genuinely wins, we’ll tell you.
